The v2 upgrade (09/01/2025 onwards) provides two primary benefits:
You can now lock down the film holder using two thumb screws that press it into the frame. This ensures it stays in a consistent position, improving consistency. The tabs holding onto the masks located under the holder are now increased in number from 4 to 6. This improves stability of the mask and makes it less fiddly to put in place. Includes:

- 2x VALOI M4 thumb screw for fastening holder
Use your holders right on-top of our light source solution without compromising on stability! This plate attaches to the top of your LightAdapter and a hole perfectly sized for the VALOI 360 holders to slot into.
The plate attaches securely to the LightAdapter with 4 supplied thumb-nuts. Attach the plate, place your holder in it and pull film through to scan - easy, stable and secure! The combination of this, the LightAdapter and CS-LITE light source is the perfect combination for someone to get started with a stable scanning setup and one of the best light sources available!
This does not include the LightAdapter or light source.
